I honestly had such a fun time reading this book. I know that probably makes no sense but read the book and you will know what I mean. They were both written as unlikable yet likeable characters. I have a very hard time picking sides between Naomi and Nicolas as throughout the book I had a very love-hate relationship with them. For example, Naomi cutting part of Nicholas’ desk leg off so it wobbled, would drive me insane. In my opinion, the worst things they did to each other were the small thing. There were so many things that they did to each other that were just pure evil. These two are a match made in hell, literally.

I have never read a book where the characters are so spiteful and petty and yet human. This type of genre is completely new to me and I think I just might go and find other books similar. I have never really read a book like this before. Both determined to not get married or pay the price for ending the relationship they both decide to make the other’s life a living hell. However, they both know that the person who called off the wedding will have to pay for most of the costs. This book follows two characters, Naomi and Nicholas. Because now that they have nothing to lose, they’re finally being themselves–and having fun with the last person they expect: each other. When Naomi discovers that Nicholas, too, has been feigning contentment, the two of them go head-to-head in a battle of pranks, sabotage, and all-out emotional warfare.īut with the countdown looming to the wedding that may or may not come to pass, Naomi finds her resolve slipping. Naomi wants out, but there’s a catch: whoever ends the engagement will have to foot the nonrefundable wedding bill. And she is miserably and utterly sick of him. They’re preparing for their lavish wedding that’s three months away. Naomi Westfield has the perfect fiancé: Nicholas Rose holds doors open for her, remembers her restaurant orders, and comes from the kind of upstanding society family any bride would love to be a part of. When your nemesis also happens to be your fiancé, happily ever after becomes a lot more complicated in this wickedly funny, lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy debut.
